Due
to the heavy rains the play off programme has been
rescheduled. Therefore golfers who had previously booked into the stableford event this Wednesday 4 August may find that
their time slot has been moved to 11am for a continuation of the Cock of the
Walk quarter finals. Please check your
tee off times.

COMPETITION SCORES
SELF ENTRY
Golf
The
good news is that our Power Golf system will do this for us provided we show
the gross score for each golfer on each hole.
The ladies have been successfully doing self entry of scores since the
middle of last year. We have had similar
results with our Friday Open Competition since February this year and the
Wednesday events since May.
It
has been decided to now extend self entry of scores to our Sunday competitions,
beginning 25 July 2010. Initially staff
will be on hand to assist any member who requires help in entering his score.
By
simply showing the gross score for each hole the system will:
Ø
Calculate the stableford points for
the hole.
Ø
Calculate the total stableford points
for your round.
Ø
Automatically total the team score for
you and your partner.
Ø
Send results straight to the Leaderboard.
I
encourage members to embrace this change and to not hesitate to ask staff for
assistance.

VALVOLINE TOP GUN SHOOT-OUT
This
very popular annual event has begun with a slightly new format. Participants
are required to buy an entry/raffle ticket before their round. This single ticket qualifies your rounds for
the whole six months of the competition.
Only $10 from the bar or pro shop with the prize being
a bag and set of golf clubs.
The
Valvoline Top Gun is an exciting competition. Make sure your round counts by buying a
ticket before you play.
